£110,000 is our target. Can you help?

It is that time of year again when we should be getting out our bikes, oiling the chains and setting off on The Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Historic Churches Trust sponsored bike ride, which is on Saturday 8th September. If you do ride a bike, why not get sponsored to walk round see a few of the lovely churches in our area?

It is an enjoyable day out for those taking part and I appeal to everyone to support this charity either by riding or walking to as many churches as can be visited on that day or by sponsoring riders and walkers from our group of villages.  Its is fun day out for children accompanied by an adult too! Half of the money raised comes back to our parish churches with the other half going towards grants to help with repairs to churches in the two counties. If we can get three or four new people taking part in each of our villages, we should easily meet the Trust’s target of £110,000.
