Barley Church: Every third Sunday of the month at 3.00pm families come along to St Margaret of Antioch church in Barley to enjoy crafts and games on a Bible theme. We’ve made paper doves, decorated cakes and biscuits, acted out the stories and then we’ve had tea. Its a great occasion for friendly informal church. It finishes at 4.30pm. Come along and join us- everyone welcome.  See the fun they have in the pictures below:

Our annual book sale will take place at St Mary’s Church on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th November from 9am to 5pm. Come and have a cup of coffee and browse our large selection of fiction, classics, reference and children’s books. Admission free.

Linked with Pray for Schools network (www.prayforschools.org), 8 prayer stations for 8 hours starting on 8th November, praying for GenR8, children and schools in the area and culminating in a Europe-wide ‘Prayday’ on 21st November in Histon. Please come to your nearest Prayer Day, Wednesday 15th November, 10am-6pm at Sawston Free Church (CB22 3BG); Tuesday 21st November, 12noon-8pm at Histon Baptist Church (CB24 9LN). The group are reading Maria Boulding’s “Gateway to the Resurrection”. They will meet to discuss this on November 13th at 8pm at The Old Post House, Therfield.

Barkway – Tuesdays at 9am.
Barley – Wednesdays at 9am.
Reed – First Thursday in month at 9.15am, subsequent Thursdays at 9am.

Our churches are always open during the day and you are welcome to drop in for personal prayer at any time.
